Offshore Platform

Offshore platform are sometimes impossible in high seas  are designed by mechanical engineers. Offshore platform are manufactured onshore and assembled either in close proximity to the place of manufacture or at the location where the offshore platform is to be positioned for production.

Offshore platform are protected by strong steel walls to absorb any potential blast impact and protect people living and working offshore. Offshore platform are primarily dependent on water depth and prevailing meteorological conditions such as waves, currents and winds. If dynamic amplification is not a major consideration, the static applied force due to the largest single wave is traditionally used as the critical or design load conditions for fixed offshore structures.
